assunto.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> <strong>O que \u00e9 afinidade eletr\u00f4nica?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p> <strong><em>A afinidade eletr\u00f4nica \u00e9 uma medida da mudan\u00e7a de energia que ocorre quando um el\u00e9tron \u00e9 adicionado \u00e0 camada mais externa de um <a href=\"https:\/\/chemuza.org\/pt\/definicoes-basicas-de-quimica\/\">\u00e1tomo<\/a> de g\u00e1s isolado.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p> A quantidade de mudan\u00e7a de energia, tamb\u00e9m chamada de \u0394E, pode ser positiva, negativa ou zero.<\/p>\n<p> Um valor positivo de \u0394E indica que a energia \u00e9 absorvida durante o processo, enquanto um valor negativo de \u0394E indica que a energia \u00e9 liberada.<\/p>\n<p> O sinal da afinidade eletr\u00f4nica (E <sub>EA<\/sub> ) \u00e9 oposto ao sinal da mudan\u00e7a de energia (\u0394E), com um valor E <sub>EA<\/sub> positivo correspondendo a um valor \u0394E negativo e vice-versa.<\/p>\n<p> Quanto maior o valor positivo de E <sub>EA<\/sub> , mais energia \u00e9 liberada quando um el\u00e9tron \u00e9 adicionado ao \u00e1tomo neutro.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Por exemplo:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/chemuza.org\/pt\/tabela-periodica-de-halogenios\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"4870\">Os halog\u00eanios<\/a> possuem altos valores positivos de <sub>EEA<\/sub> , indicando que eles
