elektronenaffiniteit?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p> <strong><em>Elektronenaffiniteit is een maatstaf voor de energieverandering die optreedt wanneer een elektron wordt toegevoegd aan de buitenste schil van een ge\u00efsoleerd <a href=\"https:\/\/chemuza.org\/nl\/basisdefinities-van-scheikunde\/\">gasatoom<\/a> .<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p> De hoeveelheid energieverandering, ook wel \u0394E genoemd, kan positief, negatief of nul zijn.<\/p>\n<p> Een positieve waarde van \u0394E geeft aan dat er energie wordt geabsorbeerd tijdens het proces, terwijl een negatieve waarde van \u0394E aangeeft dat er energie vrijkomt.<\/p>\n<p> Het teken van de elektronenaffiniteit ( <sub>EEA<\/sub> ) is tegengesteld aan het teken van de energieverandering (\u0394E), waarbij een positieve <sub>EEA-<\/sub> waarde overeenkomt met een negatieve \u0394E-waarde en omgekeerd.<\/p>\n<p> Hoe hoger de positieve waarde van E <sub>EA<\/sub> , hoe meer energie vrijkomt wanneer een elektron aan het neutrale atoom wordt toegevoegd.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Bijvoorbeeld:<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/chemuza.org\/nl\/periodiek-systeem-van-halogenen\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"4870\">Halogenen<\/a> hebben hoge positieve waarden van <sub>EEA<\/sub> , wat aangeeft dat ze veel energie vrijgeven wanneer een elektron aan hun buitenste schil wordt toegevoegd.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> <strong>Elektronische
