<strong>Cos&#8217;\u00e8 l&#8217;affinit\u00e0 elettronica?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p> <strong><em>L&#8217;affinit\u00e0 elettronica \u00e8 una misura della variazione di energia che si verifica quando un elettrone viene aggiunto al guscio pi\u00f9 esterno di un <a href=\"https:\/\/chemuza.org\/it\/definizioni-fondamentali-della-chimica\/\">atomo<\/a> di gas isolato.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p> La quantit\u00e0 di variazione di energia, chiamata anche \u0394E, pu\u00f2 essere positiva, negativa o zero.<\/p>\n<p> Un valore positivo di \u0394E indica che l&#8217;energia viene assorbita durante il processo, mentre un valore negativo di \u0394E indica che l&#8217;energia viene rilasciata.<\/p>\n<p> Il segno dell&#8217;affinit\u00e0 elettronica (E <sub>EA<\/sub> ) \u00e8 opposto al segno della variazione di energia (\u0394E), con un valore <sub>EA<\/sub> positivo corrispondente a un valore \u0394E negativo e viceversa.<\/p>\n<p> Maggiore \u00e8 il valore positivo di E <sub>EA<\/sub> , maggiore \u00e8 l&#8217;energia rilasciata quando un elettrone viene aggiunto all&#8217;atomo neutro.<\/p>\n<p> <strong>Ad esempio:<\/strong> <a
